Veteran acid jazz pioneer, producer and DJ Chris Bangs is set to release a new solo album exploring his love for all things jazz and Latin.
It follows his explosive 7” single ‘Samba Do Sueno / Soccer Samba’ (the A-side of which opens the LP), and his soul-jazz, mod-club adventure with Mick Talbot ‘Back To Business’ earlier this year.

Chris says ‘The idea of the album was to make a whole bunch of jazz dance tracks I would have gladly had in my record boxes back in the Days of Cock Happy, Doo at The Zoo, Bournemouth Weekenders, etc. I spent a lot of time finding some exceptional musicians and tracking down and hooking up again with some of the finest musicians I have worked with over my recording career.’
