The original December 2020 pressing of ‘Latin Dynamite’ sold out more than two weeks before release date. Subsequently, copies have emerged on collector sites for over £150. Due to this incredible demand, it is set for reissue on 9 December, this time backed with a previously unreleased B-side…

Acid Jazz group label Fingier Records, headed by Argentinian producer Kevin Fingier, has become known for its dedication to Soul, R&B, Boogaloo and Raw Funk productions from Latin America. ’Latin Dynamite’ could have been the soundtrack of Ramsey Lewis and Mongo Santamaría visiting Soho together around mid 60s, it’s a perfect mix of Mod Jazz and Boogaloo, with a very cinematic feel.

Look out for an upcoming announcement when we reveal the B-side for what is sure to be another collector favourite.
This exclusive 7” offers further shades of what is to come from Fingier Records, with an LP compilation of these dynamite sides due in the spring.

Kevin Fingier appears live in person at the 100 Club, Oxford Street on 21 February for a full-band performance, featuring a who’s-who of UK scene talent. Tickets are available here.

Look out for new recordings from Fingier Records in 2023…
