Matt Berry – ‘Night Terrors’

Last we week we announced a recent warehouse find had uncovered some lost gems from the Acid Jazz catalogue. Now we can share with you something very special indeed…
In 2017 Matt Berry released the hidden gem that was ‘Night Terrors (Nocturnal Excursions in Music)’. A companion piece to the previous year’s ‘The Small Hours’, across its 8 tracks we were given remixes by Saint Etienne and Clark, covers of Icicle Works and Davey Graham, modal jazz film themes and hidden slices of Matt’s songwriting expertise.
The initial vinyl offering was numbered and signed by Matt and disappeared very quickly as it was limited to 500 units.
A repress was done, but for various record company-like reasons, never made it out the door – there is no copy listed on Discogs for instance – and was forgotten about.
Various warehouse goings-on, mean that we have found the complete remaining stock of 300 copies and we are going to sell them to you, for just £15 per copy.
